Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of Newcom Group’s vision, long-term goals, and short-term business plans, including analyzing market trends and competition, identifying growth opportunities, assessing risks, and developing strategic action plans. Communicate strategies across all levels of the organization, monitor performance, and report results.
- Support project teams in developing business cases and feasibility studies for selected business lines and projects.
- Participate in the establishment of a Project Management Office (PMO) for Newcom Group in alignment with international standards (PMBOK 6th, 7th Edition, and PM Agile Guide).
- Manage project documentation, including archiving and facilitating project team meetings. Record and distribute meeting minutes.
- Consolidate and report on project progress on a regular basis (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually as required).
- Conduct overall financial analysis for the Group, including its subsidiaries and individual projects.
- Evaluate strategic alternatives using financial metrics such as NPV, IRR, ROIC, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Provide financial modeling and project finance estimations to support management decision-making.
- Coordinate communication with international partners, lenders, government agencies, and other stakeholders of Newcom Group.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor and the CEO.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business.
- CFA Level I, II, or III certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or project finance is required.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese and/or Japanese is advantageous.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Strategic thinker with excellent logical reasoning skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-driven, with strong time management skills.
